The one liner

Kynto is a free 3D world that runs in a browser, built solo since 2007, where live stream chat controls avatars in real time.

The paragraph

Kynto is a programmable 3D world that runs entirely in a browser, with no download. It is built and streamed by one developer, Will, known online as Codeloch, who started building isometric worlds in 2007 after not being able to afford Habbo Hotel as a kid. Its defining feature is that live chat is a controller: viewers on Twitch, YouTube, Kick and TikTok type commands like !move and !dance and their avatars act in the world in real time, with no account or install. Rooms are player built, persistent, and walkable in 2D, 3D or VR.

What to say, what not to say

Accurate
  • It is free and runs in the browser, nothing to install.
  • One person has built it, in public, since 2007.
  • Viewers play from live chat with ! commands.
Please avoid
  • Do not call it a Habbo clone. Habbo inspired is accurate.
  • There is no crypto, no NFTs and no AI generated world content.
  • It is not an app store download. The browser is the platform.
